Shipping policy

Shipping Policy

1. Delivery Coverage

We deliver across the UK and can arrange international shipping upon request.

2. Delivery Methods

  • Standard delivery via pallet networks or courier services
  • Large items (e.g. Armco barriers) are delivered on pallets or specialist transport

3. Lead Times

  • Stock items: typically 2–5 working days
  • Made-to-order items: typically 5–15+ working days

4. Delivery Charges

  • Calculated at checkout or quoted separately
  • Based on size, weight, and delivery location

5. Pallet Deliveries – Customer Responsibility (Critical)

ALL palletised deliveries require offloading by the customer using suitable equipment.

  • A forklift or appropriate mechanical handling equipment is mandatory for unloading pallet deliveries
  • Delivery drivers are not responsible for unloading heavy or oversized goods
  • Tail lifts and pump trucks are not guaranteed and may not be suitable for industrial products
  • If adequate unloading facilities are not available, delivery may fail and re-delivery charges will apply

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure:

  • Safe and suitable access for delivery vehicles
  • Appropriate unloading equipment and personnel are available at the time of delivery

6. Delivery Conditions

  • Failed deliveries due to lack of access or unloading capability may incur additional charges
  • The customer must be present or have a representative on-site to receive goods

7. Receiving Goods

Upon delivery:

  • Inspect goods before signing
  • Note any damage on the delivery note
  • Take photographic evidence where applicable

Signing for goods without noting damage may void claims.

8. Delays

We are not liable for delays caused by:

  • Courier or transport providers
  • Weather or external disruptions
  • Supply chain issues
